Things in my garden this September

Spearmint.....

Dinner-plate Dahlias---this is my first time with these....aren't they pretty??

My new gladiola bulbs are just starting to bloom...

More dahlias....

Blue jays......

....and more blue jays.....

...and last, but not least----lots of crunchy, delicious apples.

Cheers

  1. Oh, whau!! Nature is very generous in your corner of the world! Gorgeous! I have some spearmint planted and also peppermint. Love the tea! Dahlias are flowers that I wish to have. We live in a parsonage and lawn have installed sprinklers and thus I can't plant flowers around like I would like to do :) Such beautiful photos you got!! Hugs for you and wish you a sweet Wednesday!

  2. Thanks...it is very beautiful, but along with that comes lots of work. Gardening is a total 'labor of love', but the rewards are so worth it.

    1. Thanks Ms A. I really love this time of year---getting too old for too much sun and heat--ha ha. I remember when we were younger and would lie out in the sun for hours to get that perfect tan. I wouldn't be able to do it now if you paid me!

    1. Thanks Karen....sometimes I wish the bluejays would stay away. They are really aggressive with the snall birds, but they are so pretty!
