My Dark Cove Pantry

I am from Gambo, NL, located on the east coast of Canada, in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. My hometown of Gambo was once divided into three smaller communities, known as Middle Brook, Dark Cove & Gambo. I grew up in Dark Cove, and absolutely love to cook and bake, so I thought what better name could there be for my first blog than 'My Dark Cove Pantry'. Even though I now live in Flatrock, and now have a new pantry, it will always be 'My Dark Cove Pantry'.

Gazebo Update & Lobster Boil

Here are a few pics of the latest developments with the gazebo. It is coming along nicely, considering Roger has been working. He plans to take a couple of days off later in this week to complete the wood work and mount the screens.

Last night, we got together with a bunch of friends and had some lobster---it was delicious!!!!

ooops..u caught me!!!!!!

Ha ha---we'll do lots of the same when you come to check out the gazebo. Maybe our little friend Tracy will be back from that cruise by then too!

I do think of you all the time though....honest---ha ha-- ;o)
