Fifty Shades of ……Green ??!!??

This fallen maple leaf really got my eye

The last of this season's gooseberries

A large patch of bull rushes near the entrance to my favorite walking trail

The next four photos are of sights along the walking trail at Middle Brook, here in town.

The long spell of hot, dry weather has left most of the brooks and
rivers in the area really low.......

.....to the point where a ban has been placed on recreational salmon fishers.

Cheers everyone

    1. hey baygirl!!!

I wish you were closer...you'd be welcome to a big bowl of gooseberries, that's for sure.

Also, that second photo is my absolute favorite spot on the entire trail. It is almost magical---Huge boulders all around completely covered in a thick, lush moss. It makes you feel like there are little fairies peeking out at me as I walk by....ha ha!!
