Lunch at Coffee Matters

What a beautiful sunny Sunday!!
12 degrees Celsius and sunshine gets me on the move.
After a little laundry and the normal routine stuff, hubby and I headed in to
the city to take a walk on the waterfront.
I also wanted to take some harbor photos for a blog post.

As we were driving toward the downtown area, we laughed when we caught sight of
the thick blanket of fog hovering over the harbor area.

We found a spot to park and hopped out.  There was a very noticeable difference in the temperature between downtown as it compared to our yard in Flatrock.
We strolled for awhile along the old streets in the downtown area.
By now it was well past lunchtime,
so we decided to walk up to Coffee Matters on Military Road.

I just love this place.  I have never been disappointed there.
The food, service and the atmosphere is just so awesome.
If you ever get a chance to stop by and check it out, do so--you will be very happy that you did.

We shared a lunch combo, which consisted of a Ham and Pear Chutney Croissant with a bowl of
squash and bacon soup..........

and a delicious oatmeal raisin cookie.......

Of course, we had coffee too---Yummmmmm!

We did get a little walk, and we enjoyed a scrumptious lunch.
Hope you all had a great Sunday, and I wish you all a good week!

Cheers
:)
