Cows and Wild Roses

I took today and Monday off, to have an extra long weekend.
We are having our 2nd Annual Ward-Fudge Garden Party on Sunday, so I
have lots of preparations to do, and I hate being all rushed.

This morning, I got up early to take a hike out around the ocean trails.
(Driving home from work yesterday, I noticed a iceberg pretty close to the shoreline)
I took my camera in case I could get some good shots of it.  No such luck!!
The winds had changed overnight, and though still quite visible, I didn't bother
trying to photograph it.
Instead I decided to take a stroll  on a different trail,  and I wasn't disappointed!

There was a bunch of very happy and contented-looking cows in a pasture........

On my way back, I came across these lovely wild roses, peeking out
through a beautiful old fence....

The smell of these roses was almost intoxicating, and they looked so very beautiful!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!
Cheers
:)

    1. The iceberg had moved too far off in the overnight winds!! I'm watching for a good one to post a few pics of though! Stay tuned--haha!!
