Sea Ice in at Flatrock

The thunderous roar of a big sea is frightening,
but to see and hear huge chunks of ice crashing against ice....

As far as the eye can see....

A thick carpet of uneven, jagged ice brought ashore by the winds.

Mother Nature is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Here in Newfoundland and Labrador, we seem to be stuck in the never-ending winter!!

Hopefully spring is right around the corner.

  1. This too will pass, Kathleen. Oh my! You had snow again today!

  2. That looks powerful. I hope spring comes soon for you. We are getting some spring-like days lately, and today's rain may wash may most of the remaining snow. Fingers crossed.

  3. The ocean is determined to be respected, at all times.

  4. Powerful ocean, indeed! It looks scary and beautiful at the same time.
