My Dark Cove Pantry

I am from Gambo, NL, located on the east coast of Canada, in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. My hometown of Gambo was once divided into three smaller communities, known as Middle Brook, Dark Cove & Gambo. I grew up in Dark Cove, and absolutely love to cook and bake, so I thought what better name could there be for my first blog than 'My Dark Cove Pantry'. Even though I now live in Flatrock, and now have a new pantry, it will always be 'My Dark Cove Pantry'.

The Brier is in town!!

We love curling......my mom loved curling, and I am so excited!!

I am actually an official Brier volunteer!!!!! First scheduled shift is tomorrow morning,

and I am like a kid around Christmas---can't wait to get down there

and get in on all the excitement.

Hubby and I have tickets to a couple of the draws next week, so I am looking forward to that as well.

Go Team Gushue!!!!!

I had to google that one. I really don't know much about curling, have heard during some Olympic games perhaps but sadly I expose my ignorance. I looked and see that it must be very interesting to watch. Sounds exciting!
