After the ice storm

After steady freezing rain and drizzle since Thursday, Hubby and I dreaded to
go outside to assess the trees.
Much to our surprise, it looks like Mother Nature just did a bit of "pruning" for us.
Thank goodness, it was not near as bad as we expected!

Thankfully, it has warmed up and the rain has stopped.  Iit is up to 1* C now, so hopefully
most of the ice will drop off before the evening cool.
The ice dropping off of the trees is almost deafening out in the yard now, but a
very welcome sound all the same!

We have sun in the forecast for the coming week and warmer temperatures....
maybe spring is coming!!!!

Have a great week.

Cheers
:)

  1. I hope that was the last of your bad weather, Kathleen. The trees look beautiful just the same!

  2. I remember hearing that loud noise of ice falling off the trees after our last ice storm a couple of years ago. I hope your trees are all OK.
